Julian's Lions-Presented by the Julian Mountain Lion Project, Tuesday, May 10, 2016

Tuesday, May 10th from 5:30-7:30pm, come to the Julian Library to learn more about mountain lions, and living alongside them in a rural area like Julian, from speakers with the Mountain Lion Foundation (MLF), a nationwide organization based in California, and also from Dr. Winston Vickers of the Southern California Puma Project. The program will also launch MLF’s new Julian Mountain Lion Project recently formed by Julian resident Jane Santorumn.

Cheesemaking 101: Camembert Class, Saturday May 14th

Learn the craft of making Camembert. In this half-day workshop learn all about cheese making, including the history of pioneer cheese making in the San Diego mountains. Through a detailed demonstration of the Camembert process, hands-on activities and yes, cheese tasting, you'll come away with the recipes and knowledge to start making cheese in your own home!
